COVID Thoughts and the Journey through the pandemic
I thought the pandemic was not as bad as I expected for me. Since soccer was still open, I got to get a lot of physical activity during the pandemic and I love playing soccer. School was different since the first semester I was online the whole time. This was very frustrating since I had no social interaction with any of my friends. The second semester however I transferred schools and it is going much better now than before. In general the pandemic was very hard to get through with all of the rules you had to follow and everything else, but it also made some memories. -

Covid Symptoms
I do not know anyone that has COVID or that has gotten COVID. I know some symptoms of COVID which are chills, cough, difficulty breathing, muscle aches, and sore throat. There are many more symptoms but these were the mains ones that I know of. If I were to know someone that would have COVID, then I know that I would have to social distance from them for 2-14 days. I would have to talk with them through online devices which would not be as much fun than to socialize with them in life. -

Rules and Procedures
There were quite a lot of COVID rules you had to follow throughout the pandemic. One of the rules were that you had to stay quarantined. This ruined my social life since I couldn't socialize with many people. Not socializing is actually very bad because once we come back to normal and the pandemic is gone, a lot of people won't remember how to socialize. Another rule was to stay clean and sanitized which I actually like because it decreases the risk of getting COVID. You also had to wear a mask when around other people to also decrease the risk of getting COVID. One of the bigger procedures was to stay 6 feet apart which a lot of people followed by, but others just ignored it. Later on through the pandemic, some of these rules were getting broken and more lenient. I find this good since a lot more people were socializing and having fun instead of sitting in your room all day. -

Online Journey
Every morning I woke up just 20 minutes before class. That would give me enough time to get out of bed, brush my teeth, eat breakfast, and get ready for school. At each lunch or break period is when I would see and talk to my family. During class, I would often get distracted or lose concentration from learning. This would make it hard for me to do my assignments or answer questions in class. Procrastinating was a big challenge for me during virtual learning. I would mostly do all of my assignments at the last minute, this was because I really did not enjoy virtual learning. After school I would just practice soccer or play video games since I had no motivation to do my homework. In class it got very boring for sitting in my room half of the day and not really moving around much. I did not enjoy online learning a lot since it was a very hard time.
