  learning virtual

  My experiences with virtual learning is like a detatched environment from in person school. The benefits are being in the comfort of your own home, being able to concentrate more, and having food/water/bathroom near you. The negative side is that the poor technology can make communication more difficult.

  the beginning of the virus

  I think the virus was not artificially crafted, but came out of nowhere. It is a respiratory disease that came out of nowhere. The cause of this virus spreading is the ignorance of people. The virus is scientifically and literally dangerous. But the ignorance and arrogance of people choosing not to wear masks and having large gatherings adds to this dangerous occurance.

  Christmas in Lockdown

  Christmas in lockdown felt somewhat surreal. Because there was danger outside, in the streets, and a new president, it was very chaotic. The holiday did seemed rushed as well. Everyone felt the same-it was too fast, and felt off. I hope this year we can end off the holidays with a more positive note and spend more time appreciating it.

  Thanksgiving in Lockdown

  My Thanksgiving was different in the sense that we could not leave the house of even see anybody. It was the same because of the food and traditions but besides that last year was very different from this year. I had Thanksgiving with my family of 4. It was a small gathering which is what we are used to by now. My mom cooked food for all of us and made things from scratch. My parents and brother had turkey but I don’t eat turkey so I just ate salad and chicken. It was still a good thanksgiving but definitely felt somewhat trapped or restricted. The thought that If I left the house without a mask I might come home infecting my whole family lingered in the back of my mind.
