Description (Dublin Core)
“Well, covid-19 really hasn't affected my faith or belief other than the aspect that the church is closed but I'm still able to pray every night with my family and do Christian traditions like usual and especially with Easter last week I was still able to celebrate and was able to communicate with my family via Zoom. So that’s pretty cool.” “With me being Christian, to my knowledge it's currently not gathering. It’s all going to be over like online…”

Speaker 2 0:07
Um, well, COVID-19 hasn't really affected my faith or belief other than the aspect that the church is closed. But like, I'm still able to like pray every night with my family and do Christian traditions like usual. And especially with Easter last week, I was still able to celebrate, I was able to communicate with my family via Zoom. So that's pretty cool.
Speaker 1 0:30
Okay, cool. And is your religious community still gathering currently? How has COVID-19 affected your participation in your religious community?
Speaker 2 0:41
Well, me being Christian, like, at my knowledge, it's not, it's currently not gathering. It's all gonna be, like, over online and COVID-19 has shut down like all the events that were like a person, that I know of.
Speaker 1 0:57
Is your religious community supplying or engaged any kind of community service in an attempt to help alleviate issues caused by this pandemic?
Speaker 2 1:06
Um, well, I know for my church, they've sent out emails, like, regarding donations for those who need help and small offer to help those who don't really have access to materials like toilet paper, even helping those that are elderly getting food. So yeah, that's pretty cool.
Speaker 1 1:24
All right. Perfect. Thank you so much for your time.
Speaker 2 1:27
Yeah, of course. Thank you.
