This image is part of a series exploring the role of language, typography, and presentation in informing the larger public. The rainbow sign is part of a movement in my community (and many others on LI) to engage children as they go on walks with their family. Businesses and families alike have drawn rainbows and put them in their windows so that kids who are out playing can count how many rainbows they find while on a walk/bike ride and try to find new rainbows the next day!
