Submission Agreement: I hereby certify that I created, and own the copyright in, the submitted material. While I will continue to retain my copyright, I hereby grant to Brooklyn College and the Journal of the Year of the Plague permission to make this material available online under:
A Creative Commons Attribution 4.0 license which allows others to copy and distribute the material in unadapted form only, for noncommercial purposes only, and only so long as attribution is given to the creator.

** Please note: You may only submit if you are 18 years old and if the material submitted was created by you and not copied from or based, in whole or in part, upon any other photographic, literary, or other material, except to the extent that such material is in the public domain, or you have permission of the copyright owner, or its use is allowed by "Fair Use" as prescribed by the terms of United States copyright law. Submitted material must not violate any confidentiality, privacy, security or other laws.

Waiver Language

Please attest that you are submitting an original work and you own all proprietary rights, including copyrights.  You hereby represent that the submission is unpublished work and does not include any third-party logos, artwork, design or copyrighted material. 

You hereby represent that the submission will not libel any third party, or otherwise violate or infringe any rights whatsoever of any third party, including, but not limited to, any rights to privacy.

You agree to indemnify, and hold harmless Brooklyn College, the City University of New York, its affiliates, licensees, and assigns, and their respective agents, officers and employees, from and against any and all claims that may arise, including but not limited to as the result of or in connection with a breach or alleged breach by your representations, warranties, or obligations under this Agreement and any claims of copyright infringement by any party arising out of or in any way related to the submission of the submission.
