#covidteaches
Are you an educator, student, or parent affected by K-12 campus closures? Whether you suddenly found yourself crisis schooling at your own kitchen table, attending classes through video conferencing apps, or navigating your district through unforeseen challenges and painful budget cuts, we want to hear from you!
As the threat of COVID-19 closed school campuses around the world and distance learning became the new normal, educators, students, and parents faced unprecedented challenges worthy of preservation. While the school year may be over, the continued uncertainty about returning to school in the fall and the lasting effects of distance learning remain a prevalent issue that is sure to permanently redefine K-12 education.
Submissions can be anything from images taken on your first day of distance learning to videos documenting your virtual prom, from written journal entries about missing friends and teachers to a news article outlining school reopening plans. Being educators and students ourselves, we want to help preserve this extraordinary moment in K-12 history. Share your story here, and make sure to use the hashtag #covidteaches when submitting.
