Pandemic Pets

Since January 2020, news headlines around the globe have mostly been filled with fear, heartbreak, and despair. Out of this tragic time, we have seen some stories that manage to lift our hearts and warm our spirits. Many of those have to do with our furred, feathered, and scaled companions- our beloved pets. While shutting the door on people, thousands opened their homes to animals. This collection is filled with stories of pet adoption, the effects of pets on our mental health, Covid's effects on animals, and more. If you have a story to add to this collection please review the #pandemicpets call and submit your story using the Share Your Story form.
