Mental Health and Self-Care
Not proud to say I’ve developed unhealthy coping mechanisms over the past 2 months of quarantine, such as: crying over literally everything, eating because I’m bored, spending 6 hours a day on Tiktok, etc…

The past year introduced a different world that has required humans to adapt to a new reality. One key experience during this past year was addressing mental health and self-care issues. Consequently, people developed coping mechanisms, a testament to their resiliency in the face of the unknown. Whether they found new ways to handle the stress of quarantine or continued with old habits, these people have persevered.
I just want to say that I am proud of your accomplishments and keep staying positive.

However you managed to deal with this new world—congratulations. There was no handbook on how-to live in isolation, but you made your own rules. If you started running, ignored a messy room, or decided to speak out about issues in your community, great job!
