“Some positive things from this quarantine would definitely be more time for self-care... Now, I can manage to do a lot more things! Like working out daily, cooking nice meals for myself, and planting a bunch of flowers.”

The COVID-19 pandemic gave people freedom from work schedules and school. This newfound “me time” gave people the time to discover new hobbies and interests. Things often overlooked in daily routines became new passions.

Without being burdened by school, kids were able to try new hobbies at home.

Hobbies are not always about physical activity, sometimes all it takes is a new coffee recipe every morning.

To compensate for time off sports leagues began playing out of season games. This gave a wide variety of options for viewers.

More leisure time meant families had time to put into caring for new pets.
