Faith During the Pandemic
The pandemic has touched every facet of life, including people's beliefs, the ways in which individuals approach faith, and the means through which communities gather to worship. From tensions between religion and science to questions over the qualifications of essential gatherings to promoting a deeper understanding of compassion towards humanity, faith has both influenced and been influenced by the pandemic.
"I feel as this pillar can also represent what religion meant for me during the pandemic we were living through. When I see it, I would get reminded to pray and connect myself with God to seek answers for my problems."
This exhibit was created by Sarah Heavren, Providence College Class of 2021, as part of an internship with Jouranl of the Plague Year. Many thanks to everyone who helped advise and contributed to this project. Keep the faith, friends!
