I left on a cruise on March 6th, back then the extent of my knowledge about the coronavirus in America is that there were a small handful of cases in the west. After a week of no internet while celebrating my final undergraduate spring break in the Bahammas, I come back and find out my Spring break had been extended by a week and that the virus had spread to a few cases in almost every state. Flash forward to May 1st, I recieved my convocation material in the mail today and instruction on how to watch the online graduation which will be held in about a week. I never would have guessed that I would be attending my college graduation from my living room. This is a moment I had hoped to be able to share with my friends and extended family. To make up for it, myself and all my friends who are graduating will be using Zoom to "attend" graduation together. It has been difficult learning how to adjust to the current situation, but it's important to continue to safely celebrate the good moments in life.
