Text (Omeka Classic)

Life in quarantine has been a unique experience. It makes me realize how much we usually do on a regular basis and how consistent our everyday schedules are. Now that we are in quarantine schedules have changed and it has been hard adapting to policies the government has put in place for our safety. Limiting how much time we are able to go outside and where we can go has been the toughest thing to adapt to. For example, whenever I want to go to a popular grocery store like Target or Walmart, there is a long line because they limit the amount of people that can enter the store at a given time. This is due to the Coronavirus being spread through contact with others. My everyday schedule has changed drastically. This is due to school being shut down and the mall being shut down. I go to Sacramento State and work at Victoria's Secret in the Sacramento mall. Both of these things being closed down due to the Coronavirus has given me a lot of free time. My day usually consists of waking up, showering, and simply opening my laptop for a few hours of online classes. Then, I usually try to do something productive like clean the house, do laundry, or take a walk outside. My day also consists of watching movies and listening to music. I have noticed I eat out a lot more due to me just wanting to get out the house for a few minutes. This quarantine life is hard, but I understand all measures being taken are for our safety. #CSUS #HIST15H
