Topic: My Take on This Moment in History #3 (165-200 words)
I always see in the news things like “How to get Back to Normalcy”, but I really feel like at this point everyone is used to life in quarantine, and it’s become the new norm for now. I don’t find it weird that doing school online now instead of going to school. I’ve gotten used to my new schedule of waking up at 9 instead of 7, taking my time to eat breakfast, doing online work till about 4, and then having the rest of the day for myself. Also, after being in quarantine for so long, I’ve gotten over the parts of it that suck like not seeing friends and not getting my license, and I’m beginning to notice and appreciate the positive effects quarantine has had on my life. I get to wake up later when it's normal for a teenager to be walking up. I have more free time for things like watching movies that I’ve been meaning to watch. I began talking and playing video games with people I haven’t spoken to in weeks. I’ve been finding and listening to more music while I work. Yeah, quarantine isn’t all bad.
